Stored Settings and Cookies

Plenty of websites greet you with a cookie notice the size of a jackpot banner. Ours is small because there is little to say. Saengerhalle does not use cookies to track, measure or advertise to you. This page lists what is stored and how to get rid of it.

Last updated: October 2026

The single stored setting

On your first visit, a notice asks you to accept or decline. Whichever button you press, the site saves your answer in your browser's local storage. Local storage is a small area that each website gets on your device; technically it is not a cookie, but it plays a similar role. Here it does one job: it remembers that you have answered, so the notice does not interrupt every page you open.

NameWhat it holdsWhere it livesHow long
Cookie-notice answer"accepted" or "declined"Your browser onlyUntil you clear it

That value is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not linked to your name, email address or IP address.

Missing on purpose

  • no cookies that count or analyse visitors;
  • no cookies for adverts, retargeting or affiliate tracking;
  • no social media buttons that load code from other platforms;
  • no embedded players or widgets dropping cookies of their own;
  • no login or session cookies, because there are no accounts.

The hosting provider that delivers our pages keeps short technical logs to run and protect the service. Those are server records rather than cookies; Privacy at the Hall explains them.

Clearing or changing your answer

If you would like the notice to appear again, or simply want to remove the stored answer, delete the site data for Saengerhalle in your browser settings. In most browsers you will find this under privacy or site settings, where you can search for the site's name and remove its stored data. Private or incognito windows forget it automatically when you close them.

Declining has no downside on this site. Every article, page and feature works exactly the same either way.

Other websites

When you follow a link from one of our articles to another website, that site may set its own cookies under its own rules. Gaming operators in particular often use several. Their cookie and privacy notices tell you what they collect.
